Why we built it
Our mission
Good social badminton is often hard to find. Sessions are scattered across group chats, spreadsheets, and word of mouth, and it can be tough to know the venue, the level, the price, or whether there is still a spot. We want joining a game to be as simple as opening an app.
Jigsaur Sports brings Sydney's social badminton into one place, so players can discover public sessions and organisers can run games without the admin. Whether you are new to the city, returning to the sport, or playing every week, we want to make it easy to get on court.
The company
Who we are
Jigsaur Sports is built by Jigsaur Pty Ltd, founded 2026 and based in Rhodes, Sydney, Australia.
We are organisers first. We run Rhodes Socials, one of the largest social badminton groups in Sydney, along with several other groups, and we built Jigsaur because the spreadsheets and group chats we ran them on kept breaking. Today groups across Sydney run their socials on it.
Founded by JunYang Sim, a former Google engineer who worked on Google Maps for cars and holds a Computer Science degree from UNSW. LinkedIn GitHub
